Campaign Story
Ethan Cole is almost 10 yrs old and won his first Karate competition 3 years ago and since then his passion and love for the sport has burned brightly.
He has the most wonderful Sensei and has flourished and has been selected to be part of the national squad to travel to Vancouver 28th Sept-1st Oct 2017 for the 7th Karate-Do Goju Kai World Championships. South Africa hopes to retain the World Championship cup for the third consecutive time.
He has already started a stall at our local market on a Sat selling lemonade, popcorn and fresh juices to raise funds. He pays me back for the ingredients and mans the stall himself.
We are not certain of the costs yet but we can use all the help we can get.
I am arranging a dance or two in our village which will also raise funds.
Although Ethan loves Karate most of all, I would also like to mention that he is also a keen Ballroom/Latin dancer, plays the guitar, does Art, school sports, soccer, cycling and running so has a very well balanced life and does not overdo how much time is spent on his Karate to ensure that he still just gets to be a boy too.
If any of you can help with a couple of pounds- our exchange rate will help us loads.
Thanks so much from his very proud parents.
