Hello friends! As many of you know (and for those who may not), I have had the great privilege and pleasure of being accepted to attend the AIMS -- American Institute of Musical Studies -- opera program in Graz, Austria. While I did receive a scholarship/work study grant, and continue to work and save money, I am having trouble raising the funds needed for this program, especially taking into account the price of airfare to Europe at the moment. I believe this program to be an incredible opportunity to continue my voice studies while at the same time learning more about the business-side of opera - auditioning, the European stage, and higher level, mindful performing.
Although I have set the goal of this fundraiser fairly low, this was mostly in the hopes that I would meet that goal and retain as much of your donations as possible (as this site will take a larger percentage of the proceeds if the goal is not met). While I in no way expect your donations, I would be extremely grateful if you could, or even if you could share this page with your music- and arts-loving friends. Any amount helps and is much appreciated. If you would prefer to donate directly to me through the AIMS program - which is tax deductible - please look at the campaign update at the right of this page or contact me at [email protected] . If you do decide to use this method of donation, please email me so I will know that you have donated!
Finally, I will be putting on a recital on April 10, 2016 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Olympia at 3:00pm for those who have donated, who wish to donate at that event, or those who simply wish to come and enjoy the music. There will be no minimum donation to attend the concert, but as it is a benefit concert it would, again, be much appreciated. If you or someone you know is interested in attending this recital, please email me at the above-mentioned address and I will send you the information as it becomes solidified. [Please note that this recital will take place in Olympia, WA. At this time I am figuring out a way to record the recital, so if you are unable to come to the event, whether because of previous engagements or distance, please let me know! I will send you a recording if desired as well as a hand-written note!]
Thank you so much in advance for your donations and well-wishes!

What one cannot say and what one cannot keep silent, music expresses.
