Help Geoffery Graduate!

Hello,

My name is Geoffery Smith, and this year, I will be graduating Medical school and becoming a physician and entering my residencies. I am a recent MBA graduate of Mizzou. I have been working towards completing the joint MBA/MD program between Mizzou and Washington University School of Medicine. I have completed the Business portion, and am now completing the Medicine portion. I will then be entering residencies with Washington, and either Mizzou or Barnes. While finalizing paperwork and scheduling and such recently, I discovered that my financial aid package is going to be a bit short of my required tuition and board fees for my final year, which amounts to around 49k and 32k short counting both tuition fees and board/living expenses, and needs to be paid between now and early summer. Working a regular full-time position is not allowed so I am asking for some assistance in meeting and exceeding my lifelong goal of becoming a physician/surgeon.

At the same time, recently, during a medical school physical and routine testing, I discovered two medical cases which I myself will be required to have surgery to correct prior to my starting residencies. First, I was told there is a deformed bone growth fairly deep in my right medial ear area, which will require surgery and a slight hospital stay, as it was determined to be potentially cancerous, and the growth will need to be removed to prevent cancer malignancy, and the associated pain it causes. Secondly, I was told I have what is called a varoceole / hydroceole, which is where blood vessels in the lower extremities tend to move and grow towards one side, as opposed to both sides equally.  Surgery will be required to correct this and prevent potential blood clotting as well, prior to starting residencies this coming summer. I was told that since both surgeries will be considered moderate stays, I should be able to have them both completed at the same time or close together, and depending on what all is involved, would range in costs of 25k to 35k out of pocket for my share and insurance will cover the remaining. Insurance only pays a percentage of these combined involving the visits, stays, surgeries, therapies, radiation, and so forth.

I am a very hard working individual, and have always wanted and dreamed of working in medicine and helping treat people of illnesses. I have a current GPA of 3.84 and 3.72 in graduate and undergraduate studies respectively. I need your help! No donation is too small, whether $1 or $1,000, all will be equally appreciated! Please help me fulfill my dream of getting these surgeries completed and tuitions paid so I can enter residencies this summer as well as graduate medical school and become an outstanding physician!
