Help Gary the stray cat receive veterinary care

Gary is a stray cat that has been coming to our house for food and a safe place to sleep. He is a very sweet cat once he gets to trust you, he enjoys cuddles and likes to take naps on people's laps.

We've noticed that Gary has an issue with his mouth, his gums are very swollen and his teeth seem to be aligned poorly, making his canines sink into his gums when his mouth is closed. He is visibly underweight, and although he is able to eat and drink we suspect it is painful for him.

We are a family from Honduras with not enough resources to help this stray cat. In my hometown, Danlí, there aren't any animal shelters/rescue centers. Honduras is a small conservative country where animal rights have only been a discussion in recent years, so the people and groups dedicated to help animals are rare to come across, especially in small communities like Danlí. This combined with the current restrictions in place due to the pandemic make it impossible to get Gary to a shelter or rescue center outside the city. So it's in our hands to provide him the help that he needs.

This fundraiser is to help Gary receive the veterinary care that he needs and to buy him more nutritious food so that he can regain a healthy weight.

He will be very thankful.
