Help Gareth get dad home.

My father, Chin Then Fook was sponsored to tour China with his friends on the 28th of February 2018 and supposed to be back to Malaysia on the 10th of March 2018.

Unfortunately, my father's friends left him there alone and came back Malaysia after informing me that my father was admitted into a hospital. I called the hospital (Second Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College) on the 8th of March 2018 and they told me that my father was admitted into ICU due to a acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) and went into coma.

My father was awake on the 12th of March and was told that he has not enough funds to settle the bill. So he could not get back to Malaysia until the bill is settled.

Total amount of the medical bill that was informed by the hospital on the 8th of March was approx. USD6,000 and as of writing, it has already accumulated to USD15,000.

Just end of last year, my family business was forced to shut down with heavy debts. We have spent our life savings to pay off the debts. Even after raising funds from my friends and relative, I have just enough for my travel expenses to China. I have no choice but to create this campaign as my last resort.

My family and I hope to receive any kind of amount and hopefully we will be able to raise enough funds to bring my father back home. We will be forever grateful and appreciate whatever help that we receive.
