Help Galen Joel Keaton with legal defense fees

Galen Keaton is incarcerated at Franklin County and has been (since June 2020). Those that know him are aware of the genuinely good natured person he is, but because of the severity of the charges being brought against him, he desperately needs help with legal fees for a legitimate defense attorney in lieu of a public defender. Even though I am not at liberty to discuss the facts of his case for legal reasons, what I can say, however, is that the information currently available to the public is skewed and sensationalized to such an egregious degree that he has likely already lost his constitutional right to a presumption of innocence. Now, more than ever before, the court of public opinion seems to weigh heavily against the true administration of justice.

The opposite of addiction, is literally connection and right now Galen needs connection, support and community to come out of this better, stronger and sober. He is loved by his family & friends and he radiates authenticity, his laugh is contagious, his heart is pure & honest, and his light shines so bright. It’s been suggested he will need $10-15,000 for attorney fees, and he would also hopefully like to achieve bail so he’s able to get back to work to absorb some of the financial burden himself. He not only needs but deserves a hand up, not a hand out. Below I am linking the local newspaper article of his impending charges and what he is up against.
