Who am I ?

I'm Max Lee Kok Liang, 46 yrs old, from Singapore. I have 2 sons ( 17 yrs old and 16 yrs old ) a daughter ( 9 yrs old ) a wife and 2 elderly parent ( 74 yrs old and 68 yrs old, retired ). Was jobless since August 2020 due to Covid19 and job market unstable.

Why i need to ask for help ?

February 2021, the company that my wife work in. There was a retrenchment going on. We almost scare to death that she will be retrenched. Luckly, God bless our family that she's not on the list. But there might be another retrenchment going on later of the year. Right now our bank account is running dry. We had been through those times that we need to worry about foods, bills, expenses and so on.

Why i need $40k ?

I love to cook and manage to successfully learn the art of cooking Sarawak kolo mee and laksa from my lovely wife ( she from Kuching, Sarawak). I had a great business plan for opening the food stall which sell Sarawak Kolo Mee and Laksa. I'm willing to work long hours to provide for the family. To provide affordable, delicious meals to the neighbourhoods.

What is Sarawak Kolo Mee ?

Kolo Mee is a Sarawak Malaysian dish of dry noodles tossed in a savoury pork and shallot mixture, topped off with fragrant fried onions. This is a leaner version without the use of lard, which is typically used in hawker stalls. A classic staple food in Malaysia, it is eaten for breakfast, lunch, or dinner

What is Sarawak Laksa ?

Sarawak laksa is characterized by a subtle, mild flavor. Consisting of a flavorful chicken and shrimp-based broth that is seasoned with thick laksa paste, which includes more than twenty different ingredients, the soup is accompanied by vermicelli noodles, shredded omelet, cooked prawns, and shredded chicken.

Where the money goes ?

How i will run the food stall ?

Running 5 or 6 days a week. Opening from 6am to 2pm. The stall will be run by me (one man show) Fresh noodles (handmake) and ingredients will be cooked on that day. Its will serve the neighbourhood, offices nearby and thru online food delivery.

Only fresh ingredients will be use everyday, any leftover will be donated to the needy on that day. I'm commited to donate min of 10 bowls for the needy. My family had been thru those tough times, we understand how it's feel worry about foods.

How will the meals for needy be distribute ?

I will discuss with Ministry of Social and Family development and relevant Charity organisations on how to better distribute the meals to the needy. ( Planning and discussion )
