Campaign Story
Thank you for taking the time to read our gogetfunding page created to raise fund for my beloved husband, Ray Ojales 41 yrs old, who was diagnosed with severe Rheumatic Heart Disease and needed to urgently undergo open heart surgery to replace and repair his heart valves. We welcome all donations. No amount is ever too small, every peso donated will go a long way towards saving my husband’s life. We understand that not all of you who’ll read this are able to donate so may we just please request for your prayers and for you to share our page so that those who can donate may reach our urgent plea.
My husband was diagnosed with Rheumatic Heart Disease with severe mitral stenosis years ago. He had undergone two PTMC in the past to alleviate his condition. My husband’s medical situation had made maintaining and finding new job difficult, so he helps me run our small convenient store (Sari-sari store) which is the sole source of our income to support our family’s daily expenses, our daughter’s education and his medical expenses.
Late last year my husband started to experience recurring stomach pain, and after months of seeing different types of doctors and series of tests, his cardiologist told us that his heart condition has worsened which explain the recurring stomach pain. The angiogram and 2D echo confirmed that three of his heart valves are severely damaged and he will require open heart surgery as soon as possible. We were told that the longer we wait the more critical it will become, so charity placement is no longer an option for us.
We know life is hard so for the longest time we tried not to directly solicit financial help to anybody, but the realities of life is clear, we only have God and humanity to depend on during desperate times like this. I love my husband and I am not willing to give up on his life without a fight so I’m pleading with all humility to all who can help to PLEASE HELP US.
My husband is a fighter. He wants to live and help fulfill our responsibilty to our daughter and our family. But due to the enormous amount needed for his operation and aftercare, he’s worried for us. To give him hope and raise his spirit, I showed him the many ways we can raise the amount needed for his operation and the many people who are willing to help others in desperate need.
I am not losing hope and pray hard that help comes on time.
Thank you and God bless you all for your generosity and prayers.
