What's The Story?

Once close to each other, Ah Shun and his father, Ah Pa, have grown to lead divergent lives. Ah Shun prioritizes his career over everything else, while Ah Pa simply wants to care for his family.

When fate causes their paths to cross again, Ah Shun decides to make amends for time lost by bringing Ah Pa to visit their old estate. But, faced with shuttered storefronts and a neighborhood in decline, Ah Shun's grievances come to the fore. And Ah Pa's insistence that everything's alright only pressures Ah Shun to face a bitter truth - that his attempts to make things right again may be simply too late.

What's The Rationale?

Parents are one of the few constants in our lives. They're there through thick and thin, nurturing and guiding us - sometimes, even if it means sacrificing their own well-being.

But sometimes we forget. We drift apart. We take our parents for granted. Perhaps, in many of us, there's a voice that says it's alright - it's never too late to reconnect, there's always a next time.

But what if there wasn't a next time?

This is a story that resonates deeply with us. Through creating this film, we hope to remind others - and ourselves - to better cherish those we hold dear to us.
