Help fund a creative career

Hi all!

A little about me first... so I have been working in care for the last 5 years and as much as I have enjoyed it I feel I need to be doing something more creative. Everyone that knows me will know I have a huge passion for music,but in this day and age the chances of me being able to pack in my job to pursue my dream realistically cannot be done. However I have been interested in becoming a barber/hairdresser many years ago but due to circumstances I never went ahead with it. I don't regret not taking it at that time as care work has taught me a lot and opened up my eyes in so many ways, and I am grateful for that.

So the time for me to do something creative and fun is now. I have enrolled onto an NVQ level 2 course at 'London school of barbering" in Covent Garden. Even though i have covered the costs of the course I still need a little help. Trust me i have looked into every bursery, grant and charity available and i dont qualify for anything. As a last resort to raise some money I have decided to create this page. I am using my remaining wages, savings and credit cards to cover my time in London and I shall be working my current job til the weekend before I go.

I have tried various routes to get into barbering and this seems to be the best way due to my circumstances. Even if I don't hit the target i have set I promise you all that any money that is raised WILL go towards the cost of my future career.
