Hi! Allow me to introduce myself my name is Jaleesa. I'm the owner/product maker for JALEESA NICOLE SKIN CARE™. Nicole is my middle name. I also happen to have very sensitive skin, body acne (or "blemishes" as the big-name brands call it), and quite a few odd allergies & sensitivities. So, you can imagine the unbelievably hard time I had just trying to find suitable skin care products for simple, everyday maintenance.

My aim is to provide "go-to" skin care products for the other 1% that have odd sensitivities or allergies to some of the mainstream ingredients found in the majority of the products available such as: wheat components, FD&C dyes, and aloe among others. Also, products will be free of sulfates, parabens, phthalate fragrances and will not have any citric acid added. Not to mention free of those skin irritating & dangerous chemicals in products that are "specially formulated for sensitive skin". I have found alternatives that will allow me to eliminate these things while still keeping my products safe to use and appealing.

Will my products labeled "natural" or "organic"?

Well, the short answer is, no. 

Why? According to the U.S. Government:

"The laws and regulations that FDA enforces do not have definitions for “natural” or “organic.” The same requirements apply to your product no matter whether the ingredients are plant, animal, mineral, or synthetic. It’s important not to assume that using only ingredients from plants will make your products safe." 

I won't make those claims about my products since the FDA does not offer any legal definitions or regulations for products marketed under the terms "natural" or "organic". Because of this, consumers have no real guidelines to compare those statements/claims to, which could easily become very misleading since the terms "natural" and "organic" mean different things to different people. BUT, rest assured that I do make sure that the ingredients in my products are safe, non-stripping, detergent/sulfate-free and that I keep the amount of mild chemicals used to a bare minimum! Along with full ingredient disclosure and proper sensitivity warnings.
