Help fund Mommy Lulu’s Lifetime Hemodialysis Treatment

Hello everyone,

I am Sandra Legaspi I am writing to you today with a heavy heart to ask for your sympathy and support for my grandmother, Lourdes Manubay "Mommy Lulu", 72 years old. She was diagnosed of End Stage/Stage 5 - chronic kidney disease last November 2022.

Chronic Kidney Disease is a debilitating condition that affects millions of people worldwide, and sadly, my grandma is one of them. She has been bravely fighting this illness since 2019 with unwavering strength and determination. However, the costs associated with her treatment have put significant strain on our family, with an estimated monthly cost of 50,000 Php. (Medical expenses for managing CKD, including dialysis sessions, medication, and regular check-ups)

Despite our best efforts, we are finding it increasingly difficult to bear these expenses alone, which is why we humbly reach out to you for assistance.

My father is working as a family driver in Saudi Arabia for 23 years now. He hadn't been able to return home for 5 years straight. He also recently underwent heart bypass surgery in February 2022 and still working there to help us provide with medical needs of my grandma and also for my Mom's maintenance meds (she's recently got diagnosed with early stage CKD). Me and my sister is also helping with all of the expenses (at home) However, we also need to save money and plan for the future.
