Help fund Minerva’s surgery!

My beloved 4-year old cat Minerva was bitten by a dog I have been fostering out of the kindness of my heart. My neighbour couldn't keep her any more and was going to put her down so I took her in, and for the past 7 weeks she has been a part of the family, until I could find her a home. Last Sunday, when I was out, something happened, but I obviously don't know the specifics, since I wasn't there. I came home to a cat who could not use her front left paw at all, and after a visit to the vet today, I learned that her leg is snapped just above the knee joint. This will require specific specialized surgery, which will cost at least $850. A standard cast won't help, because the leg needs to be stabilized with pins or a plate. I am definitely not in a position to afford such a surgery, and am appealing to you, my good-hearted friends, family, acquaintances, and even those who do not know me or my cat, to please contribute what you can, in order to help her. She is the most gentle, loving cat I have ever known. She loves people and dogs, and it is such a horrible tragedy that this poor little being is suffering the way she is because of her gentle nature. I want to help her as much as possible, but my situation at the time does not allow for me to pay for this out of pocket on my own steam. Any help would be appreciated.
