Help Fund a Kidney Transplant for a New Lease on Life

Greetings, everyone! My name is Emily, and I would like to share a story that is very close to my heart. I am currently seeking funds for my sister, Angelin, who was diagnosed with End-Stage Chronic Kidney Disease (ESKD) back in 2019. This diagnosis has had a profound impact on her life, as she has had to adapt to new lifestyles and dietary restrictions, resulting in a significant weight loss. Despite these challenges, Angelin has maintained a positive and joyful outlook on life.

Regrettably, we recently received distressing news about her kidney function, which has now dropped to 9. If it reaches a level of 8, she will require immediate dialysis. Consequently, we have chosen to pursue a kidney transplant as a means to improve her overall quality of life. Fortunately, we have identified three potential donors and have completed the necessary blood tests.

Today, I am reaching out to humbly request your assistance in raising funds for Angelin's upcoming operation and associated medical expenses, which are scheduled to take place sometime between July and August 2023. While the majority of the costs will be covered by insurance, we are still in need of RM30,000.
