Campaign Story
Hello friends and dear ones. Well it's happened. I saw a little house Here in Pittsfield and I absolutely fell in love with it. I'd not ever thought of myself as a homeowner, mainly because I haven't had the work history and thus savings or credit history to think it was possible. Ah, but this place just made my heart soar! Tis on a quiet street and close to a park I frequent. In fact it's a mere 1 1/2 blocks from where I live now! The yard is nice and has enough room for gardening and gathering!
So here's the asking part. I am trying to raise a down payment. I figure $5,000 would be ideal. It's a lot and to me it feels overwhelming, as I pretty much have nothing. But it doesn't hurt to ask for help and if you are able, can you contribute? I know, I know, it's a BIG ask, (well maybe not! It takes a village). But if I don't ask and stay open to the possibility, I'll never know. You only live once! (Unless reincarnation is true!) As far as the asking, you might be able to say yes! It could be $10, $20, $50, $100, or even $1,000! Know that regardless of whether you can contribute and even if you say not now, I am grateful for your time taken to read this and consider what if anything you may do. Thank you as well If you are willing to please let others know. Pass it on!
I of course am pursuing any available grant options and low cost interest loans for first time home-buyers as well as courses available and saving every cent I can. It's a long shot, but this has sparked a fire in me I cannot ignore.
Thank you again. And whether or not you can contribute, know I cherish your presence and friendship in my life. In Gratitude, -Kim

Dear Kim, I can really see why you fell in love with this house.. It is SO SO homey and a creek too! WOW. I hope the very best for you. I'm a bit far away for movie night.. but just the thought brings a smile to my heart. I'd be happy with a tour someday when we are driving through along the North-South corridor between New Hampshire and Florida. Good luck. We are rooting for you. Happiness, Holley

Hey Kim, What an adorable house! Mary E. told me about your quest. I could actually use a rune reading, as I am still on a quest of my own to find a job that is fitting. (Though brunch could be nice, too.) Hope to see you on the mat soon. Love, J
