Help Free LUIS and ILSE

On February 12, 2017 in Zihuatanejo, Mexico, Luis Angel Quintana Saucedo and Elizabeth Ramirez Reyes were falsely apprehended and charged in a federal military and police raid on an apartment building in which they were living. There was said to be several apartment units with suspected criminals living in them which contained evidence of criminal activity. They were taken into custody, along with the criminal elements.

It is important to understand that Luis and Ilse were only renting on a completely different floor and were not involved in any way, nor were they aware of the criminals targeted in this raid. It is an extremely unfortunate case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, with the military police arbitrarily arresting everyone in the building without any cause or evidence against Luis or Ilse.

This is a very dangerous situation for these two innocent young people who continue to be held in Acapulco, and the situation continues to worsen with each passing day. Their rights are being violated as they are being held with no evidence against them, with minimal contact being allowed. Luis is a talented and popular bass guitarist in the band Xpresión Inmune, Ilse is an artist and graduate of ITCGG. These are honest, educated, hardworking people.

For those thinking that this will sort itself out, be assured it is a very dangerous situation for these two innocent bystanders. The criminal process they must go through is difficult and delicate, and their current conditions in Acapulco federal prison are frightening, degrading, uncertain and unjust. They are far from their homes, friends and families. They are frightened and worried for each other's safety, as well as their own. The families are helpless and financially unable to afford the assistance of a quality legal defense.

Ayuda a Liberar a LUIS e ILSE

El 12 de febrero de 2017 en Zihuatanejo, México, Luis Angel Quintana Saucedo y Elizabeth Ramírez Reyes fueron falsamente detenidos y acusados en una incursión militar y policial federal en un edificio de apartamentos en el que vivían. Se decía que había varias dependencias de apartamentos con sospechosos de ser delincuentes que vivían en ellas y que contenían pruebas de actividad delictiva. Fueron detenidos, junto con los elementos delictivos.

Es importante entender que Luis e Ilse sólo alquilaban en un piso completamente diferente y no estaban involucrados de ninguna manera, ni eran conscientes de los criminales apuntados en esta incursión. Es un caso muy desafortunado de estar en el lugar equivocado en el momento equivocado, con la policía militar arrestando arbitrariamente a todos en el edificio sin ninguna causa o evidencia contra Luis o Ilse.

Esta es una situación muy peligrosa para estos dos inocentes jóvenes que continúan aprendidos en Acapulco, y la situación continúa empeorando con cada día que pasa. Sus derechos están siendo violados ya que están siendo retenidos sin evidencia contra ellos, con un mínimo contacto permitido. Luis es un bajista talentoso y popular en la banda Xpresión Inmune, Ilse es una artista y graduada de ITCGG. Estas personas son honestas, educadas y trabajadoras.

Para aquellos que piensan que esto se solucionará, asegúrese de que es una situación muy peligrosa para estos dos espectadores inocentes. El proceso penal por el que deben pasar es difícil y delicado, y sus condiciones actuales en la prisión federal de Acapulco son aterradoras, degradantes, inciertas e injustas. Están lejos de sus hogares, amigos y familias. Están asustados y preocupados por la seguridad de los demás, así como por la suya. Las familias están indefensas y financieramente incapaces de pagar la ayuda de una defensa legal de calidad.

Pedimos que todos se unan a nosotros para apoyar los esfuerzos por liberar a Luis e Ilse. Su generosidad y apoyo son apreciados.
