Due to safety and confidentiality reasons, the name of this person who is now in their 20's is being withheld. We understand that this makes raising funds difficult. We are raising for this beloved EPS student and Niles Township Family and we ask that you share this plea for medical and healing help to your trusted family and friends.
Five months ago in June 2019 our former student was in an accident. They sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Once out of their coma and intensive care in mid-summer, they began intensive rehabilitation. While on this road to healing, complications led to multiple operations and a 5-week course of antibiotics to combat infection. Subsequently, their progress was detoured and delayed.
Immediately after the accident, they were able to move independently, talk, write and remember some things. Now they are back on track and with therapies it is expected they will become functional. Their parent is caring for them and is not working at this time. We are asking for your generous donation so that our student will continue to receive top notch medical care, and the family can pay the mounting medical bills
