Help for my Treatment against Crohn’s Disease

Hello everyone, I'm Reggie, 26 years old and was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease.

Last year 2020 during the early weeks of the community quarantine I had to go to the hospital because I was in pain and have been throwing up, the doctors diagnosed it as appendicitis leading to appendectomy. During the operation the they found out that there are small white spots on my intestines and diagnosed it as Tuberculosis, but they also suggested me to go to a gastroenterologist just to be sure. Later months when the community quarantine has lighter restrictions I undergone colonoscopy and found out that I do not have Tuberculosis but I have Crohn's Disease.

Due to this disease being rare in our country, we have to order the medicine for my treatment overseas costing it more than it should. I was taking Vedolizumab(Entyvio) until February 2021 but then I experienced the same symptoms as last year and was hospitalized again. My doctor found out that my ileum was still inflamed and mostly blocking the passageway, and if this keeps up a part of my intestine will get removed and eventually it will repeat, so he decided to change the medicine to Ustekinumab(Stelara).

The price of this medicine costs twice than the previous one so it exhausted our savings pretty quickly and had to seek help to our friends, relatives, and co-workers for extra funds. One good thing is my condition was improving, albeit slowly. As of the time of this writing I have taken four doses of the medicine and still needed six more.

Me and my family are hoping for your kind assistance to help us complete my treatment for this disease. For now we are asking for assistance for the next three doses.
