Hello, my name is Alesa. I lived in the Philippines with my family and i am the breadwinner. I've been very happy supporting my family and providing our needs. I have been working 7 years and its not that easy but seeing my family happy and complete is so much enough for me. Im an office worker but compensation is not that enough as we don't live a house of our own. Renting a small room is not easy but for times like these you really have to be content especially if you're really had enough money for rent but still hoping someday we might get our own little place at least our own. Despite of all the hardships in life, i have a wonderful and loving mom. We can say moms are the best, someone who you can lean on in life. But one thing that really makes you sad is knowing your mom has an illness and we really don't want that. We discovered she had problems with her thyroid. She has been diagnosed of multinodulr goiter and the laboratory results indicating that her nodules are highly suspicious. Her doctor doesn't require any biopsy becuse of the features of her nodules are not very good. There were all five nodules found on her thyroid and one is very solid which is not a good sign. So the doctor recommended a removal of her thyroid or a total thyroidectomy procedure. My mom was so worried, she can't imagine how she came up with this and she's the kind of person who's very sensitive and afraid of surgeries. She cried one night and i was speechless my heart was like squeezed. It's really hard seeing your mom cry. Now, as what we've heard by the doctor's advise that removal of her thyroid would be the best thing to do to avoid it getting worst into falling into cancer. She recommended to have the surgery early as possible. In this situation my mother has her bravest decision to go in for the surgery, she said that she wants to live with us longer and my heart cried for we know it would just be possible if we have the amount for the surgery. The doctor told us that the estimated amount for the the surgery will be 150k. Hearing that was like stealling my mother's dream of living with us for long. I don't want my mom to suffer and i wanted her to be happy. I had sleepless nights thinking where and how to get that kind of amount of money. I have been short of money these days and the past months because we had her follow up check ups in her diabetes, hpn etc. because she was admitted and diagnosed of Bell's palsy last march 2018. Now, there's another battle in our life we have to face, and without you're help we can't win this battle. With all your kind hearts, i hope you will help us especially my mom to have her dreams. You're help means a lot me, any amount will be greatly appreciated and will always treasure that.

Love,

Alesa
