Help for the Medical Treatment of Marinduque Brothers (Dystonia Parkinsonism)

Hi -- my name is Kat and on behalf of our highschool batch we are appealing to the public for any help you can extend to our former classmate and his brother Nelord and Ayrel Marinduque.

Nelord Mark and Ayrel Jay Marinduque are brothers from Tagaytay City, Philippines who are both diagnosed with Cervical and Generalized Dystonia 3 years ago. Dystonia is a disease wherein patients experience uncontrollable twisting, repetitive movements, or abnormal postures and positions. Cervical Dystonia, more specifically, is a painful condition in which your neck muscles contract involuntarily, causing your head to twist or turn to one side. It can also cause your head to uncontrollably tilt forward or backward.

Nelord is a cheerful guy and an academic achiever. He used to work as a manager in a fast food restaurant (here and abroad) to support his son. Unfortunately, he had to stop working due to the severity of this condition leaving them with no source income. Back in our highschool days, Nelord was one of the nicest guys in class. He's the quiet type and doesn't really talk much but the kind of person who gets along with everyone. He is well-liked by our teachers and classmates and no one can say a single bad thing about him. We admire him a lot because despite his condition, he remains cheerful and positive in his outlook in life. Beyond his positivity though, it cannot be ignored that Dystonia has changed their lives in ways they are not prepared for.

We were saddened to hear the severity of their condition and we are hoping that we can tap your kind hearts to help them get through their expenses for medication and physical therapy.
