Help for Irene- Ajutor pentru Irene

This woman was an active member in society in Romania in Sibiu, a kindergarten teacher teaching German, and worked 29 years all this time fighting with illnesses such as cancer, 11 surgeries, diabetes and multiple diagnoses which could be verified for those who want to do so. Besides all these things she was abandoned by her husband due to her illnesses and was left to live alone. After some time her son was returned by the law, back to her due to an abuse he suffered at the hands of his father, at the age of 10 years old (penal case). But besides all her illnesses she is fighting for her son’s illnesses as well as her daughter’s, both physically and emotionally. Now she needs to have some more surgeries because the cancer moved from her breast to her neck and other parts of her body. She tried hard to fight up until now, but she has no more strength. As if all these things were not enough, she has a very small pension of about 130 Euro per month which is not enough to pay for some bills, let alone food, clothing and medications, or all the operations she needs to have. She believes that there are still good people who have a heart and will stand by her till the day she will be called to go home and rest.

Romanian: Aceasta femeie a fost si ea un membru activ al societatii, a fost o educatoare de limba germana 29 de ani, chiar daca s-a confruntat cu probleme de sanate atat ale ei cat si a celor doi copii pe care ii are. Dar toate cele 11 operatii, si multiple diagnostice care se pot verifica, cancerul, diabetul, si altele, au rapus-o si a ajuns la ultimele puteri de a mai lupta. Pe deasupra a fost parasita si de sot tot din pricina sanatatii, ajungand sa isi traiasca viata plina de suferinte, singura. Fiul ei i-a fost dat inapoi de lege in urma abuzului din partea tatalui la varsta de 10 ani (caz penal), dar si acest baiat are probleme de sanatate atat din punct de vedere trupesc, cat si emotional. Aceasta femeie incearca sa se descurce cum poate din pensia ei de 600 Roni, care poate i-ar ajunge doar sa plateasca curentul si cateva alte cheltuieli. Dar are nevoie si de mancare, haine si atatea interventii medicale si medicamente pe care nu le poate avea din pricia faptului ca nu are bani. Are nevoie de noi interventii pentru regidive ale tumorilor care au migrat la gat de la san dar cu ajutorul oamenilor lui Dumnezeu inca mai trage speranta ca Dumnezeu nu o va parasi.
