Campaign Story
Hii everyone!
My name is Charisse Antonio from Bulacao Cebu City,Philippines. Our small village called "Ciwac, Bulacao" was caught on fire last February 4, 2021 at 8:48pm and was declared to 4th alarm.
This is the village where I grew up in and raised my family. Thankfully, our house was not affected but many families, my neighbors were left homeless and some are my relatives. We have a total of 150 houses burnt to the ground and 400 families were left homeless.
We were able to raise funds and was able to give away what we can but it is still not enough.
I am knocking on your kindest hearts- to those who are reading this, We need your help. any donation and anything would do.
We donated last night and I can't bear the pain seeing those families who are in the evacuation center (Bulacao Community School) who still can't believe that they are homeless and stocking food so that they won't be hungry for the upcoming days. Each classroom had 3-4 families in it, they had also utilized the school gymnasium. And the government can only provide them their needs for 3 days, which will end on February 7- after that, it would depend on the NGO's and the if the fire victims would survive until they are able yo rebuild their homes which is far-fetched as of now as they don't have that kind of money to rebuild as early as possible- They are relying on the Php 10,000 or 200+USD assistance from the government that they can use to rebuild, it would still take a month for it to be released.
Here are what they need for now:
Food
Milk for the babies, we had counted at least 100kids were there
Diapers
Hygiene Kits
Pillows
Blankets
Clothes
