On January 12th the second most active volcano in the Philippines erupted in Taal, Batangas.

Subsequently tens of thousands of people of all ages have been evacuated, leaving their belongings and in the case of farmers relying on crops and livestock, their livelihoods.

The tectonic activity remains at level four and a week after the first eruption people of all ages are living in the overcrowded temporary refuge shelters, consisting of schools and public buildings as well as private homes outside the exclusion zones.

As the situation continues there is now a growing demand for food, clothing and face masks, to shield lungs from the hazardous volcanic dust.

This page has been set up to provide these items to the tens of thousands of men, women and children whose lives have been devastated by this tragic event.

Your generosity in donating will be both highly appreciated and needed to help these people who have been left in a totally helpless situation in my home country.

Below are the accounts you can use to help. I thank you in advance for your generosity.
