HELP FOR SINGLE MOM WHO LOST EVERYTHING IN A HOUSE FIRE

My name is Radica Simpson, I am a friend of Teka Walters the person I am doing this fund raiser for. This is her story.

My name is Teka Walters from Denham Farm Manchester Jamaica. On December 16, 2021 at approximately 12:05pm I smelled smoke but before that my daughters and I were on the veranda doing the last online class for the term while my brother was in his mother’s room.

After finishing online class, my daughter(age 6 at the time) went and plugged in her devices. She then came back and we starting listen to Christmas carols on the veranda then my little brother came to join us. About 15mins later I saw smoke but I thought it was next door. The scent became stronger so I turned to my little brother and asked what did he light in the house. He ran off and went in his mom’s room and screamed out so I ran to see what is was. The room was blazing in smoke, I was able to rescue them and send them next door. I poured water but I couldn’t manage so I ran for some helped. Help came but the entire house was now in flames and cannot be saved. Three fire trucks came and house was still blazing after.

We lost everything, the only thing that was save was the clothes we were wearing. And my daughters and I have no where to stay we have to be constantly moving each time someone accommodates us for a short period. Please I am appealing to the public for any sort of assistance it will be greatly appreciated thank you all in advance.
