Help for Ronnie

On the morning of September 2nd, my nephew, Ronnie Sexton, was unjustly gunned-down by three Saint Petersburg police officers who acted too quickly and made assumptions... and ultimately, made a huge mistake. This innocent man, wonderful father, and soon-to-be husband to the woman of his dreams died in his front door while his son watched. His last words to his son, who ran to his father when he was taking his last breath, was "I will always love you, son. Tell your mom I love her". Yes, he died in his 10 year old son's arms.

Ronnie was a dedicated, hard-working young man with a bright future ahead of him... a young man who had never so much as gotten a speeding ticket, never hurt anyone, and always thought of others first. A month earlier, while he was visiting family, he got down on his knees in front of everyone and asked his girlfirend of many, many years to marry him. Their wedding was set for December.

The aftermath of this horror has left a mother and father without their son, a brother and 2 sisters without their brother and best friend, family members without their nephew, cousin and grandson.... a young lady without her love, and an innocent 10 year old without his father.

Ronnie lived in South Florida, and we're trying to bring him home to North Florida. He did not have death insurance and funeral expenses are beyond what our family can cover. We are respectfully asking for help to cover the remaining costs... so that we can bring him home to be laid to rest with other family members who have passed.

We would be eternally grateful to anyone who is willing to open their heart and help us get through this devastation.
