Campaign Story
My Dad, Reynaldo, suffered a stroke back in June. Since then, he has had three hospital stays so far due to complications from his stroke. Thankfully, he is now home, but he still has a long road to recovery ahead of him.
The stroke left his right side immobile. He cannot sit up or stand up on his own yet, his brain is still foggy, and he has trouble talking. His bladder isn't functioning yet so he has a suprapubic catheter attached to him. The doctors say it will really take a long time before he is able to do normal things like walking and eating. However, he is improving daily, with the help of caregivers and therapists. He has physical therapy three times a week and will be starting occupational therapy as well. Unfortunately, we have already exhausted all of our funds from his multiple hospitalizations and home care.
Please help us in raising money for his recovery. We are spending about PHP80,000 monthly for his daily needs. This includes payment for caregivers and therapists, medicine, supplies, food, groceries, checkups, tests, and utilities.
We would really be grateful for any financial support you could give my dad. We would appreciate all the positive thoughts and prayers that you could send his way as well. Thank you so much.
NOTE: For donations via bank deposit, please contact Jullienne directly. Thank you!
