It's been a month since I was operated to remove the mass from my trachea!

It was a tough process but I am really grateful to God for giving my the strength to surpass it. I have always been afraid of needles and hospitals so It was and still is really a miracle that I survived it all.

So to everyone who prayed with and for me and who shared their blessings so generously I would really like to say THANK YOU! Seeing your messages and overwhelming generosity made my journey much much lighter!

It is still a long journey, currently still working with my oncologist regarding my next steps, but I am holding on to my faith that we will be victorious and God will be glorified through this sickness.

"With his Love, He will calm all your fears" Zephania 3:17*

****************

All the while we thought it was just asthma. A simple allergy causing the cough and the difficulty of breathing until one night, Remy's oxygen level dropped to 88. She thought it was her last. Remy needed to be rushed to the hospital just for oxygen monitoring but she was directed to the ICU and immediately intubated. A week now in the ICU, finally extubated as of this writing. What we thought was asthma was actually a mass clogging her airways, Low Grade Spindle Cell Neoplasm, the biopsy says, a very rare case.

God has been gracious. He has never left Remy and the whole family on this journey. Although help is coming, the financial support is still not able to cover the over 1M peso bill accrued. Remy will also need to do another surgical procedure to totally remove the mass as soon as possible to prevent it to re-grow.

Remy needs to stay more days in the hospital to continue the healing and become strong enough for her next battle.

Remy and the whole family will be truly grateful for all your prayers and financial support.
