- Hello, I'm a mum in her late 50's currently in between jobs. 6 months ago my hot water system broke for the second time since it was installed. Having spent $600 on repairing it already, it broke two months later last year. Due to my financial situation now I simply can't afford to repair it again or buy a new system. To make matters worse the company doesn't exist anymore as they went broke so the warranty is no longer valid. In the meantime it has now been six months of cold showers and winter is here... I've been wanting to get in a paying border for a while now but not until the hot water is fixed.
To top this off, my lawn mower also broke after it was serviced so now the grass is very high all around my home which is very upsetting as it looks like I don't care, but I do. My car also broke completely and the cost of fixing it was going to cost more than the value of the car so I sold it to the car wreckers and now I need another car. I can't work as a Carer until I get a car again. I also cannot pay my house rates to the council, they are now badly overdue and I really need help to pay them. I also owe a family member $500 which I really need to pay back urgently. I owe my neighbour $500 as he installed a new fence between our properties himself. I told him I did not have the money and could not afford it but he installed it anyhow so he could rent out his house and now he is really after me for the money. Financially, this year hasn't exactly gone the way I planned, but I'm still staying positive. But any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much - Love from Kim.
