Help for Nanay Fe

My mother, "Nanay Fe" as she is fondly called is a retired 87-year old retired public school teacher and a mother of 2 children. She has been in and out of hospital due to multiple illness - Parkinson's Disease, Bronchiectasis, having repeated pneumonia, hypertension and hypothyroidism. She was also infected of Covid19 during the surge in April 2021 and with God' grace, she was able to survive.

On December 7, 2021, (she was discharged from the hospital 10 days prior to the said date), she was once again rushed to St Luke's Medical Center for the 3rd time for the year 2021 as her oxygen level dropped to 80% which is way beyond normal level. Due to this, she got intubated and with the help of mechanical ventilator and she still is at the time of this writing. She is currently in the progressive ICU.

Though she is intubated, she is still very active and responsive and the only way to get her out of her intubation is for her to undergo Tracheostomy. With the frequency of hospital admissions in the past months our family has been suffering financially and hospital bills have piled up. We also sought assistance from government agencies but due to its limited funding, request for financial assistance can only be made once. With the required Tracheostomy, we are again looking for ways to finance the said surgical procedure.

We are knocking on your hearts to help us finance the procedure to at least extend the life of our mother. Any amount of donation will go a long way.
