This is my mom in the picture you see. This is her in her first year receiving treatment for cancer. I am posting this message in order to seek help with her care. Here Go's!
Lets just say this has been a trying year! It started with me loosing my job earlier this year. I moved in with a so called friend of mine to help with saving some money to be able to keep up on my bills ( portion of rent, car payment, daughter who is in college, ect. Well after three months of living with her, she tells me she is moving to Texas to be with her daughter who she just learned was pregnant. She moved and left me the apartment. Two days later, an eviction letter was left on the door when I got in from work. Long story short, she hadn't paid the rent the whole time, and ran off with my money I had been paying her for my portion of the rent. I was left no choice but to move in with my daughter and her roommate in their student apartment, and I am praying that they don't find out that I'm there because I don't want her to get kicked out. But until I can save up enough to move into my own place, I am there.
So I have to continue to work, quiting is not a option. This leaves me with no one to really care for my mom like she needs it. My mother has cancer and has been fighting it close to 3 years now, and we are told that she only has a limited amount of time. She has been in and out of hospitals, and now she is in and out of hospice. She is at home living with my grandmother, who is unable to care for her. I live out of town and I am not able to be there everyday, due to needing to work and support my daughter. My aunts and uncles help out a lot where they are able to. She has no life insurance and of course unable to get any at this point. We are very concerned that if any thing was to happen, we will not even be able to send someone to get her and take care of arrangements. I have called around to ask about the cost of creamation, but it is still not affordable. I never thought that I would be faced with going that route for funeral services for my mom. I would love to give her a decent burial ( if it comes to that, I am still very hopeful of a miracle. We are praying every chance we get). I am asking for any donations that anyone can give, to be able to have a nurse of some sort come help her when no one else can ( she can't walk or stand at this point), and to help with burial if it comes to that. If you are unable to donate, we are definitely accepting prayers! Thanks in advance.
Also, I will surely post updates of whats happening thru out the rest of this journey. Again, thanks to anyone for any support you can offer, whether prayer,or monetary.
