Campaign Story
My gran has MS and is in a wheelchair, she's been in a care home since October (funded by social work , who have now withdrawn funding ) My grandda passed away at the start of this month (cancer) that is why my gran was in a home. She needs a downstairs bedroom and wetroom. We are trying to raise funds to build an extension , we had some money saved but we had to use it for the funeral. At the moment social work are saying she will have to come home on Wednesday ( even though there are no facilities in place ) It is urgent we get something done. Please donate even £1.00 as every little helps. We just want to get my gran back home.
The latest idea from social work is , put her bed in living room give her a commode ( also in living room ) then twice a week she can go down to health centre for a shower ( 25 mins from house ) they will look into putting a wetroom in the kitchen .
