Help for my Father’s Bypass Operation

January 7,2019 at 5am in the morning my father starts to feel numb on his right arm, at first he thought that was because of the way his sleep, and he continues doing his routine preparing his coffee and his tricycle (motorcycle with side car) he is working as a tricycle driver servicing few students for pick and drop from their houses to their school, while he is preparing himself, he started to feel dizziness and unable to putthe key on the motor key pad & unable to shout for a help, until 1 of our neighbor saw him and made short conversation wherein she noticed that my father looked serious and in deep pain and on that time our neighbor start to call other neighbors to look for helped.

He was being rushed to Grace General Hospital in San Jose Del Monte Bulacan (Philippines) and undergone laboratories and being confined in 3 daysdue to mild stroke .On his first day he was in the intensive care unit (ICU).On the 2nd day our fatherhad good progress then the doctor advised us that we cantransfer my father to a room where they can monitored,apart from that we cannot manage to pay the daily fees if he will stay in intensive care unit (ICU)

After that 3 days, luckily we are able to bring him home that we require to follow all doctors advise and given prescriptions, and do a follow up check up to Endocrinologists since my father is also having diabetic illness for almost 5 years. My father and I attended all his follow up checkup, until his Doctor for diabetes suggested us to go to Internal Medicine (Cardiologist) since they found out that his heart rate is not normal wherein also seen on the test result of 2decho and Electrocardiogram (ECG).

We even tried to get a second opinion from the University of Santo Tomas Hospital (UST – Charity Wards) and the doctor requested for 2decho-Doppler with GLS. That time I’m having only 2000pesos on my hand and I need to pay 1800pesos but since my father is a senior we pay for 1500 pesos. Again, we go back to Grace General Hospital and show the laboratory request as well the previous laboratory result of his 2decho and ECG. The Doctor explains immediately that only 33.9% of my father's heart are working and he recommended to do the coronary angiogram as soon as possible to check his heart condition. He referred us to Far Eastern University - Nicanor Reyes Medical (FEU) Hospital in regalado Ave near Commonwealth since he also a resident doctor there and angiogram specialist , they set for my father the date March 1, 2019 at 8am to undergo the angiogram, it took an hour because of his tenuous and swollen veins due to this the doctor decided to use the vein in the right legs and it successful the angiogram procedure. The doctor said that there is a three (3) veins that was blocked and there is a broken vein near on his shoulder. The Doctor advises that only open surgery is the best for my father because angioplasty cannot support our father's heart and if our father suddenly face a heart attack again there is no percentage of surviving. The doctor requested to the surgery and prepare 700,000 to 800,000 thousand PHP Pesos.
