help for my father

Anyone who has ever met me knows what a powerfully strong and independent woman I am - inside and out. I am leading a productive & happy life because of the love and guidance of my parents, Alina and Ritesh Kumar. Now my father needs me. He is battling a motor neuron disease, suggestive of ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a progressive neurological disease that affects the body’s motor neuron cells. I am raising money for his fight. My father has always been a very generous, caring, hard working, jovial, and hilarious individual. If you’ve met my father or know my father then you have absolutely shared a laugh with him. His humor has always been and remains his trademark. If you’ve needed something, whether it be help or advice, and you asked my father, you were assured he’d be there. A true man of his word. This money will not only be used to cover my father’s medical treatment and quality of life, it will also be used to help raise awareness of motor neuron disease, specifically ALS. Your donations will be used to help offset the burden of the medical expenses. With the medical treatment and technology he receives, hopefully it will help guide others in awareness, with a goal of some day in the near future finding better treatment and a cure for him, and everyone else. People can help by donating whatever amount they can afford. Our goal is to raise a minimum of 20,000.00 to start. People can also help by sharing this via facebook as their facebook status and any other means. Let’s make this campaign go viral, help my father’s cause and kick some ALS. This disease can be degenerative and can be debillitating over time. My father’s spirits remain high and we will be fighting this every day. For the last 6 months our family has been battling this disease and we will continue to do so proactively and positively. At a time when he should be enjoying life, already retired, he now has another battle that we are ready to join him in. Please again I ask for your help.
