Help for my Climate Reality Leadership Corps – Training. I will represent the Philippines

I am Mark David Cerezo, a Motivational Speaker, Team Builder, a Talk Show Host and a Master Craftsman known as the Philippine Rubber Artist. Since 2003, I was given the elasticity of creativity and resourcefulness in transforming scrap rubber into toys, sculptures, puppets and other forms of decorative artwork. More than showcasing my exceptional talent, my hands and my passions further flex to bring hope and inspiration to the youth through my volunteer activities as I founded the Pinoy Malikhain in 2006.

Awarded as the 2012 Pinoy Hero Awardee of Cobra Energy Drink, National Outstanding Youth Volunteer by the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency of 2014, Bayaning Pilipino Awardee of 2016 by the Ugat Foundation, 2016 National Finalist for the TAYO 13 and awardee of the UNILAB Foundation #HEALTHIERPH.

On March 14 to 16, 2019, I was given an opportunity to represent the Philippines to attend the 2019 Climate Reality Leadership Training in Atlanta, Georgia. In this training we will learn more about the unique climate impacts, issues and solutions. With this Training we will discover and learn with a deeper understanding of the climate fight in the region and the tools, know-how, and network to make a difference that I can share to my fellow Filipinos once I completed the 2 trainings this year.

Within a year of completing the training with the Climate Reality Leadership Corps, we are required to perform 10 “Acts of Leadership.” Acts of Leadership come in a variety of forms and can be completed in our local community. Examples of Acts of Leadership include giving a presentation, writing a blog, writing a letter to the editor, organizing a climate action campaign, or meeting with local leaders. The Climate Reality Leadership Corps will offer as much support as possible, but I will be responsible for seeking out opportunities to take action.

With regards to this blessed opportunity, I would like to ask your help to donate any amount that will help me to attend this Climate Reality Leadership Training. I am in need of financial support of the following:

• - Two way Air fare tickets / MNL to ATL March 12, 2019 and ATL to MNL March 18, 2019/ - Hotel Accommodations for me to attend and complete my trainings

With your help, I believe that I can share all the knowledge and learnings to my fellow Filipinos for the next generation of youth who will continue the legacy of protecting of our own environment.
