Help for Mike

Dear FT Colleagues,

We are deeply saddened to hear about the unfortunate incident that happened to our colleague, Michael “Mike” Magno, from Customer Care.

In the early morning of July 5, his house was gutted by fire, and he could only bring his unconscious mother and dog to safety. He suffered a third-degree burn on his feet, so he could not walk for the meantime. On a sad note, his mother passed away last night after spending two days in the ICU. Losing a house and everything one has worked hard to build for years can be daunting. However, losing the person who made your house a home is much more painful.

We express our heartfelt condolences to Mike and his family at this difficult time. Please include him and his family in your thoughts and prayers of strength.

To help Mike start anew, this page has been set up to raise some funds for Mike.
