Help for Mental Illness

today I am writing on behalf of a good friend, who 3 years ago was diagnosed with mental illness.

she was a teacher in a school and upon discovery of her illness, was deemed unfit for work and forced to resign. Teaching was her love: she spent all her college days preparing for this dream job.

over the past 3 years, she has been in and out of the hospital for treatment of depression and anxiety.

this was not known to me; I would never have thought she was depressed. she was always smiling with love to give everyone. it wasn’t until this year and a suicide attempt that we realized her condition.

With medical bills rising every month (no insurance covers) and outstanding student loans, I thought I would proactively do something, anything I can to help her. I appeal to anyone with 1 dollar to spare. All we need is $1 from one person; a hundred thousand people will count and help this one person and show her that there is something worth living for.
