Richard is a kind, thoughtful and generous man. Unrivalled as a jazz singer and performer with a golden voice and a golden heart. He has helped a lot of artists in the industry by raising funds for them. He is an old friend like my "kuya" and he is family to me. The pandemic really hit him hard and left him without opportunities to perform and earn a living. Last February 11, he had a mild stroke and left him with limited movement on the left side of his body, slight slurring of speech... he will now need ongoing therapy. Unfortunately, the current situation has left Richard, and his only daughter Manna and siblings with excessive medical and hospital expenses. He is currently confined in Makati Medical Center.
