Help for Mama Vicky Ramilo

Hi Family and Friends,

I hope that you all well during this unprecedented time. I am a Registered Nurse currently serving our country during this pandemic, with my current salary here in the Philippines, I am trying to make the ends meet. I am humbly knocking on your good hearts for help. Last Friday 09April2021, my Mama Vicky who is 62 years of age, accidentally fell in stairs that caused her injuries in the head and other parts of her body. The doctor ordered for the series of diagnostic tests. CT scan showed no sign of bleeding, but x-ray showed fracture in the clavicle, forearm, and rib. Because of the pandemic, all of the rooms are full, so they cannot facilitate the admission. The doctor advised us to go home to avoid her to be exposed to Covid-19. After 2 days of accident, she showed hia decrease in sensorium and a very high blood sugar level. We brought her back to the hospital where we came first but they told us that the situation of my Mama Vicky will require to be admitted in the ICU. Doctor said that the hospital is full and we cannot be accommodated, thus we have to be referred in the hospital of choice. Our family exerted all of our efforts to find a hospital for her, but it took us so long to be accepted. It was about 11 pm when we were facilitated in one of the private hospitals in Manila. She was intubated and now admitted in the clean ICU after the Covid19 swab test showed NEGATIVE result.

With unexpected hospitalization of my Mama Vicky, the family is in so much burden financially with her current condition requiring series of laboratories, diagnostics procedures, medications, and continuous hospitalization. As of this writing and within 3 days of hospitalization, we already incurred a partial balance of around PHP 450,000 in the hospital. Additional charges will be incurred until the condition of my Mama Vicky will be stable and will be advised to be discharged.

We are trying all our efforts in gathering funds so our family decided to create this GoGetFunding. I humbly would like to ask you for monetary assistance to help us settle our hospital bill.
