Help for Khristine’s 2nd Cancer Treatment

Hello Everyone,

I was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer with Bone mets (updated from Stage III a) last 2019.

Back in July 2018, I felt a lump in my breast. I had myself checked and underwent a breast ultrasound with the impression of a Solid Right Breast Mass - BI- RADS 3 on 07/18/2018. Two days after I had a Mammogram with a Bi-Rad 0 impression. Both of these didn't confirm whether or not I really have a breast cancer.

It took me several months before I underwent a mastectomy. On May 14, 2019, a mastectomy removed the whole of my right breast. Diagnosis was INVASIVE DUCTAL CARCIOMA STAGE III - Breast Cancer.

Biopsy showed that I have more than 10 lymph nodes positive for tumor.

ESTROGEN RECEPTOR ASSAY (ERA) - POSITIVE

PROGESTERONE RECEPTOR ASSAY (PRA) - POSITIVE

C-erb B-2 (HER-2) - 1+/ NEGATIVE

I went through the cancer treatment of mastectomy-chemotherapy (4 chemotherapy sessions, the last 2 remaining chemo got postponed due to the recent pandemic). We were all hoping for a good result after the chemotherapy, after all, the mastectomy removed the whole of my right breast. However, last August 2020, my routine checks and 2^nd BONE SCAN revealed that there is increased activity in the maxilla and mandible is compatible with dent alveolar inflammatory disease.

Compared with a prior study dated 9/18/19, there are new lesions seen in the following: mid-cervical vertebra, right 6^th rib anteriorly, and left sacroiliac joint.

There is also interval worsening of the following: L1 vertebra, right sacroiliac joint, and left acetabulum. And a stable bone metastasis was seen in the right iliac bone. Additionally, degenerative changes are seen in the shoulders and knees.

For the past few weeks, I have been experiencing pains in the parts affected by my bone metastasis. In line with this, I am now again advised to undergo another set of cancer treatments includes 2 chemotherapy sessions and radiotherapy. My chemotherapy will be every three weeks and will take about forty-eight hours to complete per session.

We humbly ask everyone for a little bit of help for my 2^nd cancer treatment. I do not usually ask for help but this time I am in need of help. Any amount you will give will be greatly appreciated.
