Hello every one, So we have the chance to really make the world for one little boy.

Jesse Rhode like any other small 2 year old boy just wants to play and have fun, And boy ! Believe me he is one very happy little guy, he only wants to play and explore the world, which for the most part he can, which warms the hearts of many, how ever he is in dire need of a cochlear implant for hearing and he is unable to communicate and learn as a happy healthy young boy should be able to.

Jesse was Selected and carefully evaluated according to internationally approved selection methods to receive this operation, scheduled to undergo the operation on the 19th of October 2015 how ever the major contributor that was sponsoring the funding for his operation has just pulled out (we received this information Sept 30th). So now we are here, I have turned to the wonderful people who are around the world, maybe some of you hold this cause close to your hearts as you may have family and friends who are deaf or partially deaf, Maybe some of you just want to see a happy young boy who is able to have a fairly normal childhood. We need to raise the funds for Jesse, there are many things we are embarking to do, and as a group of people who have Jesse's best interests at heart.

Some Back ground information on the actual medial device and procedure: the implant itself consists of two parts, the first, In implantable electrode array which is implanted into the inner ear, the second part is a speech processor worn behind the ear. The microphone pics up the speech signals and translates it into an audio code which is delivered into the inner ear allowing the patients hearing nerve to send signals up to the brain processing the speech.

Sadly what that means for Little Jesse, is that it makes it hard to understand his wants and needs, and with out this cochlear implant he will not develop normal speech and language, but with a little compassion we can make it go a long way !

Now just to mention, His parents are doing all they can for him and as well as his brother, they both work, Jesse's mom is away all day at work while his dad is at home, and once it is evening time, the roles change and dad sets out to work a night shift, and mom takes over the home for the night time, Sadly how ever In South Africa our economy is not favorable, so, I ask, weather you have a prayer to send, a monetary donation or the ability to just keep sharing Jesse's story, please do spare a thought.
