There is a shortage of medical help available to people who volunteer for their local fire stations/houses. Sometimes, things happen out of our control. It is at times like these that the people who risk their lives to save us are put in danger.

May 18, 2016 on or about 8 am, a fire truck on its way to a meeting got into an accident due to mechanical failure and one fire volunteer got pinned down by the truck and the consequence was he lost his left lower leg and part of his right foot. He is now in need of financial assistance for medical fees. The local government has pledged to provide a means to get a prosthetic leg for the injured personnel.

The personnel named Emmanuel Viñas is a member of the Neighborhood Emergency Service Team (NEST) Volunteer Fire Brigade of Tabangao Ambulong, Batangas City.

*I was not permitted to include the victim's actual picture and the picture of the injury.

*This is campaign is the same as the first but this accepts US Dollars instead of Philippine Peso
