My nephew Dakota and his family were in a serious car wreck on may 30th 2018. In St. Louis, They were traveling out of state from North Carolina to Oregan to visit other family members when they had gotten a flat tire in st Louis, they had pulled off to the shoulder of the road and a man in a GMC pick up truck slammed into the back of them and everyone in the car was knocked out and when they came too my sisters boyfriend rushed to get everyone out of the car with a bystander who had also helped my nephew Dakota was trapped inside the car pinned between the smashed trunk and the passenger seat. Dakota suffered a split spleen and severe brain damage. He was in a coma for a month and a half and Doctors said there was no hope for him, after spending a month in st Louis children's hospital he was airlifted back home to North Carolina at UNC childrend hospital where he has been in almost a month now. He has woken up from him coma and is doing alot of things that the doctors said he would never be able to do. Although he cannot talk and eat on his own but he can move and respond to ppl by touches. He suffers nerve damage in his right eye and cannot open it but he can open his left eye. We thank God Every day he is still with us. He is a fighter and is still fighting. I'm trying to raise money for him and his mom and two little sisters because they lost everything in the wreck including there dog who was stolen by one of the people who helped them. The money will go to help Dakota get a wheel chair as he will need one and also try to get a used handicap van for him. Anything will help big or small and if can't donate prayers are also welcome. Thank you and God bless.
