Help for children with DDH, for healthy baby hips

You may never heard of Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH) in babies, but it is very serious condition that affects babies hips and if not picked up in first few months of their life it needs to be treated with several operations and can even lead to total hip replacement needed in early adulthood. Due to the no ultrasound checks in the UK and lack of awareness there is a lot of children dianosed very late and even lots of GPs and health visitors failed to diagnosed this, simple because they don`t know about these important checks.

I am trying to raise money for special equipment that these kids needs when they are after operation put in full body cast called spica (cast from the chest all the way to knees or even unkles or toes) for at least 6 weeks. Special car seat is one of those must and since hospital don`t have these I want to get one or more seats that can be sent from family to family in the UK that needs this. This works in US so I want this to work in UK too. There is a great support group on facebook and through this group are those car seats posted to families that needs them so there will be always someone who needs it.

My child is going through this hip journey due to GP that just ignored all the signs, so I know how hard it is to go through all this .
