Help for Cancer Treatment

Hi, thank you for visiting our gogetfunding page. My father was recently diagnosed with non-small cell lung carcinoma. However, the picture above shows my father's bandaged leg with a cast.

The reason why I chose that picture is because that is where it all started. At first, my father went to the hospital for hip pain and an x-ray showed that a tumor was found in his right femur. After getting a CT scan to the chest and abdomen as well as an MRI of his leg, a mass was found in his right lung. So the doctor prescribed that it be biopsied. The cost of which was much much higher compared to how much we spent for the ct scan and mri. The biopsy results point to him having non-small cell lung carcinoma.

Non-small cell lung carcinoma is a cancer that affects the lung. According to cancer.org, about 80-85% of lung cancers are non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC). We were also informed by the doctor that thankfully this type of cancer is not that aggressive.

The doctor also informed us that he needed immediate treatment because the mass caused by the cancer in his lung has grown to about the size of a fist and that it has matastasized to his brain and femur. However, we have already spent a lot of money from the tests alone. The goal amount will help us with the expenses for his treatments (which would be chemotherapy and radiation therapy according to the doctors) as well as for the hospital bills.

TLDR: My father had hip pain, gone through very expensive tests, and is now diagnosed with non-small cell lung carcinoma.
