Aid for Auntie Marissa’s Chemo Sessions

Our friend’s (Joanna Marie Imperial) mom, auntie Marissa, needs medical assistance and we are seeking all possible help to raise fund for her chemo sessions.

Last year, October 2017, auntie Marissa was diagnosed with left frontal mass lymphoma vs glioma. Maintained on Dexamethasone and had several cranial MRI. In January 201, she underwent operation of craniotomy on left frontal with excision of tumor discharged and she was apparently well but histopath results showed diffuse large B cell lymphoma, non Hodgkin, seen in the brain hence advised and started chemotherapy using Rituximab and Methotrexate. She is responding well for the initial treatment and advised for succeeding chemotherapy every 21 days.

Here are the prices of the chemo and needed medicines:

*6 sessions of chemo - Php235,000 per session

*Rutuximab - Php92,839.76

*10 vials of high dosage of Methotrexate - Php7,938 per vial

*Ondansentron Ampule - Php700

The bills at the hospital are already starting to pile up which is also now hurting the family’s financial capacity to give auntie Marissa the chance to live longer. That is the reason why we thought of using this platform to reach out to your kind hearts and help us manage their hospital expenses and be able to extend someone’s precious life.
