Help for an elderly disabled man with no family

I am trying to raise money for an elderly disabled man with no family, no income and no place to stay. I have been covering his daily needs in food and medicines for the past few years. Unfortunately he recently had a stroke and has been unable to walk since then. He is now in a loss and must be transferred to a nursing home as due to his medical condition he cannot live alone anymore. I did a research and the monthly cost for keeping him safe is 1.000 euros. I wish I was able to cover this cost by myself but I make less than that and cannot afford to undertake this challenge. But all together we can. We can help this man live in a decent place and receive proper care. I can't help thinking that if my father or mother was in this position, I would have died from anxiety and sadness. I put myself in his shoes and I cannot begin to imagine how it must feel being disabled, helpless and all alone in the world. Please can you help?
