Help for an ailing father.

Our 67 year old father, Rolando C. Arguzon, is currently confined and being closely monitored in the ICU of San Juan de Dios (Manila, Philippines). He suffered a major heart attack last Dec 31, 2016 and was diagnosed with Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS). He also had a stroke last Sunday, Jan 22, 2017 due to multiple blockages in the brain – the CT scan results showed chronic infarction. Though he can move his arms and legs, we still have yet to see the full effects of the stroke. As of now, he cannot talk and the right side of his body has been greatly affected.

Once he is stable enough to be moved and gets clearance, he needs to be transferred to Philippine General Hospital (PGH) to get an angiogram. Based from the angiogram, he would either need an angioplasty or bypass. We are praying that it will just be an angiogram with one or two stents that will be needed.

Our mother had a kidney transplant last 2010 but passed away 2012 due to multiple organ failure after almost 4 months of fighting for her life in the hospital. We haven't recovered yet. My brother and I were able to pool our savings for a portion of the hospital bill but the balance is still rising and there are still procedures, medicines, professional fees, and rehabilitation treatments that are needed to be paid.

We carry a huge burden but we have faith in God’s provision and the kindness of people. I’m humbly asking for help that you can afford to share for my father’s treatment and recovery please. Thank you so much for your generosity. God bless your hearts.
