Help for Ali’s Diabetic Care

Hi! My name is Mj and I am starting a fundraiser for my best friend Ali who was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Ali's blood sugar levels was manageable before, hence why they did not need to take insulin. However, their blood sugar levels were fluctuating a lot recently and it started to affect their everyday life and made them prone to getting sick. They are now recommended to take insulin and to buy a CGM (continuous glucose monitoring) System to help control their blood sugar levels.

Ali's parents recently lost their jobs because of the pandemic and are doing whatever they can to afford Ali's medications and medical bills. Unfortunately, the cost is still a lot and they cannot afford everything on their own. There is not much we can do because it is difficult to get healthcare insurance and it is a long process.
