The pandemic HIT us very hard, specially to us- FILIPINOS, a citizen from a third would country where medical facilities are far behind from others.
The community i lived in is no exception, we are in an Enhanced Community Lockdown until end of April, many are displaced. No work No pay, and there are families that only source of income is on sideline basis, public transportation driver, carpenter, laborer and the Farmers- mostly skilled worker with minimal pay. Before the lockdown, they hardly found for food to eat to survive but now, they have nothing to get from- only the subsidy from the goverment -3kilos of rice mostly, 2 cans sardines, and a noddles every week or more. Babies are crying for milk
life is very hard now- we dont know when this will end
but despite of this, we Filipinos are resilient, painstaker but WE NEED FOOD TO SURVIVE
