Help for a horse named Benny

Benny is a 7 year old off the track thoroughbred. He was purchased from the kill buyer just hours before he was to be shipped to slaughter. He came to Pine Oak farm in an unhealthily state. His hair was matted down.He is dreadfully skinny and has summer sores covering the whole underside of his belly, up his chest and even on his face. This is a result of an infestation of worms. His hooves are in awful shape and are in need of some farrier work. He also seems to have a bump on his knee that is concerning. The bump could be a result of a bone chip lodged into his knee joint. The only way to find out is to have some x-rays done. He also has a snotty nose and a bad cough. He will be fed safe choice performance feed to help get his body to a more healthy state. He will need to be put on a high dosage wormer and be vaccinated. He will also need to have some vet and farrier work done. This fundraiser is made to help aid the cost for the vet and farrier work along with his feed bill. Any efforts would be greatly appreciated!
